Description
It is those dramatic events that embody four troubled years in the life of the writer Manto and the lives of the two countries where India and Pakistan live. Manto embodied the reality of writing beautifully, and his stories and writings were strongly accepted. When sectarian violence broke out, Manto made the difficult choice of leaving the beloved Bombay for Lahore. Manto found himself deprived of friends in Lahore and his growing addiction may lead him to the downward spiral.
